Vintage Decorated RRV Chromolithograph - Saraswati

This is a vintage decorated chromolithograph by Raja Ravi Varma depicting Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, and wisdom. She is shown sitting gracefully on a lotus flower with a Veena, an Indian musical instrument, in her hands.  The chromolithograph was printed at Malavli Press, a renowned printing press located in the Malavli village of Maharashtra, India. Malavli Press was known for producing high-quality oleographs in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and their prints were in high demand among the Indian population during that era.
