Vintage Marwar Haveli Window Panel | Hand-Carved Rajasthani Wooden Architectural Salvage

This vintage wooden window originates from a traditional haveli in the Marwar region of Rajasthan, an area known for its richly ornamented domestic architecture. The outer shutter—designed to open outward—features elaborate and finely carved floral motifs, executed in deep relief and arranged in a balanced decorative composition.

Architectural elements such as this formed an integral part of haveli façades, where craftsmanship served both aesthetic and climatic functions. Windows were designed not only for ventilation and light, but also as markers of status, artistry, and regional identity.
